"Veronica" was my first impression of Elvis Costello having grown up in the late 80's as an MTV kid. This video was everywhere and I was immediately struck by how descriptive and sad the lyrics were. It was the first song that made me realize that I would someday grow old. From this song, I did a deep dive as a kid into the rest of Costello's legacy and feel lucky to have discovered him.
