I love "Just Play Music," but "Rush" is fantastic too. I'm with you on the lyrics as well. And that beat! I can hear it in my head as I type.
As for this week's other tracks, this is a heckuva a week! "Chorus," is one of my faves, as is 'Happy." "Caught In My Shadow" is a timeless classic, IMO.
Today was the first time I'd heard "Happy," and it's terrific. "Caught In My Shadow" is pretty great as well. I'm on the fence about "Chorus." Liked their big U.S. hits a bit more.
I deeply appreciate this Mick Jones appreciation post. As for the week's other tracks, I was happy to be reminded of a great Erasure tune (and also to be reminded that I was never much of a Squeeze fan, lol.)
