I could not believe a band called Ned's Atomic Dustbin topped the Modern Rock Tracks chart with a track called "Not Sleeping Around." I can not believe it took me this long to find these guys.
Same. And I have not yet touched “Bloodbrainvolume,” though I have a wonderful cousin who assures me that it's just as awesome, if not more awesome, than their first two. We shall see. Bar is set pretty high.
”The best gigs we do,” he continued, “I forget myself completely. I don’t think at all. I just sing and dance. The crowds just let go and jump up and down and get sweaty.”
That's all I'm ever looking for in a concert: jumping, moshing, sweating. I regret not seeing these guys at their peak. It must have been terrific.
Awesome writeup, Amy! Thank you for sharing that!!
"I’m gushing because it’s rare for me to be completely wowed by a band I’d never heard of before this writing, and now likely can’t live without."
YES!
I'm so happy that you dig this band!
