This was always one of my favorite Nirvana songs. (Sinead O'Connor's stripped down version is also pretty good.) As a late Boomer I never really understood all of the angst that seemed to come with Gen X. Having taught college to Millenials and Gen Z is whole other ball game! They're even harder to understand!
The only reason I gave it an 8/10 is that I have a slight preference for the acoustic version from their Unplugged show. Otherwise, it's probably near the top of the list of my favorites as well (still partial to "In Bloom" as my all-time favorite).
I have a Gen Z and a Gen Alpha(?) in my house, and every day is a mystery in decoding their cohort and the things they do and say. I suspect that's true for every older generation, though!

Love that Unplugged version too! I also really like "About a Girl" from that show.
