Why subscribe?

In 2022, I decided to learn more about the music that influenced my love of alternative and modern rock, experimental rock, and all things eclectic about the music of my formative years. In following the example set down by music critics in other publications, I am taking on the task of revisiting and reviewing every chart-topping hit on Billboard Magazine’s Modern Rock Tracks chart, starting from the beginning.

I’m not a music critic and I barely qualify as a writer, but I have a passion for music and a deep interest in learning more about music history. With the Modern Rock Tracks chart, I have a roadmap that not only covers the types of music I love the most, but I get to review songs that existed within my lifetime.

Why subscribe? Maybe you share similar tastes in music. Maybe you enjoy countdown columns. Maybe you stumbled here by mistake and can’t find the unsubscribe button. Like I said, I’m no expert, but I love what I love, and hopefully you’ll follow along and maybe learn a thing or two; or, maybe, you can teach me some things.
